Our altar was handsomely wrought from a variety of Native Florida woods by the late Joseph Trummer, an expert wood craftsman from Germany. 

 

Altar Guild members consider their work both highly specialized and deeply spiritual.  Members are responsible for setting the altar for all church services with beautiful appointments of silver and brass dating back to 1885, and the exquisite linens that accompany them.  They provide and arrange appropriate flowers and greenery.   Our “seasoned” members train new ones and encourage those who are interested in this ministry to Christ Church.
