Christmas is a joyous time for the people at Christ Church.  One of the biggest projects is “The handing of the greens” inside the sanctuary but, since north Florida does not boast the traditional “green” material, the church hangs smilax, a vine that stays green in the cooler months and that grows absolutely everywhere.  It is beautiful tradition going back decades.

 

We carol at local nursing homes and homes of parishioners who cannot attend church.

 

Christmas Eve Service is beautiful and spiritual with the singing of traditional hymns and candlelight.
